Our client is a highly sought after technology employer with a multi-billion dollar turnover making for a busy 300-strong global legal team.

New vacancy

Due to the continuous business growth and internal promotions this multinational technology organisation is looking to hire an experienced German-speaking lawyer to join their EMEAR team and be based in Germany (Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Cologne or Bonn area) – with an option to work from home 2 days a week.

Legal Team

Position and Career

In this role you will handle a range of international commercial legal matters working closely with the commercial teams as their valued partner (these are not just buzz words but the reflection of how the team is viewed).

The work is highly varied and exciting – the company operates at the absolute forefront of their sector. You will act as a trusted legal advisor to the business with regards sales transactions across 14 jurisdictions within EMEA (structuring complex high value sales transactions, negotiating and drafting a wide range of legal agreements, responding to complex RFP requests, giving accurate advice to senior management on the legal and commercial impact of specific contractual provisions and general legal matters, engaging in cross-functional projects as a legal subject matter expert etc). 

This is a big role actively shaping hugely complex deals (more simple work is either automated, standardized or carried out by more junior colleagues / specialist legal support functions).

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of experience either in-house at an IT / tech company or as a TMT lawyer in private practice
  • German speaker and drafter
