New Intellectual Property Legal Role (Commercial IP)
Our client is creating a new specialist commercial IP role to work alongside the technology lawyers and will start interviewing within a couple of weeks.

The business is executing against this strategy both with organic investment and targeted M&A's, with a particular emphasis on the UK and Europe, where it recognises strong market potential.
Pragmatic commercial IP legal advice for delivering information technology outsourcing and managed services business. Advise on IP risks, IP trends, and support commercial lawyers on various contracts, including procurement, reseller, distribution, supply, outsourcing, M&A, licensing (software, SaaS/XaaS), collaboration agreements, IP rights assignments, advisory and consultancy agreements, end-user licence agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
Intellectual Property, licensing and technology transactions in complex XaaS, Outsourcing, Managed Services, digital transformation/AI projects
Leading international R&D cooperation with industry, academics and startups;
Development and implementation of IP strategies and policies;
Trade and Export Control compliance and regulatory IP monitoring.
- 6-12 years of experience with at least 4 years as a technology lawyer in-house or in private practice
- Either UK qualified or with at least 4 years of experience under the English law
