Manage legal support for six European jurisdictions for a $20b global IT company as part of EMEA legal team.
Core responsibilities include: act as a trusted senior legal leader, supporting high value deals worth $100M, handling escalations, developing deal strategy and maintain relationships with business, delivery and supporting functions across several countries.
The role is part of the strategic deals team, providing advice on bid deals EMEA and APAC. You will play strategic role in this regard and will work closely together with senior management and members of the Strategic Deal Team.
Other responsibilities include assisting with disputes, corporate transactions and integration activities and promoting strong corporate governance and risk mitigation practices, as well as advising on ad-hoc issues that arise on a daily basis and liaising as necessary with other members of the legal team and other corporate functions.
- Significant experience with negotiating large technology and outsourcing contracts
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels including senior management
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
